Obituary of Antoinette deBoo

At Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, on Sunday, December 10th, 2006, Antoinette Maria deBoo in her 98th year. Youngest daughter of Desiderius and Catharina DePrest. Born in Brugge, Belgium November 12th, 1909. She emigrated to Canada in 1954 and resided in Strathroy for 52 years. She leaves four generations with her daughters Catharina and Roger Joris of Strathroy, Celina and James Southern of Kerwood and Mrs. Rose deBoo-Vandevelden of London. She is survived by 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Belgium. Two grandsons predecease her (1950) and (1998) as well as 11 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W., Strathroy on Wednesday December 13th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Robert Hayne officiating. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to Strathmere Lodge Palliative Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
