Obituary of Hendrik VanderDuim

At Sprucedale Care Center, Strathroy on Wednesday, December 6, 2006. Hendrik (Henk) VanderDuim of Strathroy in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Grace VanderDuim for 67 years. Dear father of Ida Traxler of Strathroy and Hessel VanderDuim and his wife Judi of Owen Sound. Loved grandfather of Brian and Anne Traxler, Karem and Mark Kalin, Chad, Adam, Karin, and Erik VanderDuim and great-grandfather of Sam and Sarah Traxler and Walker and Nate Kalin. Also survived by sister Hinke (Helen) Neef of St Thomas and Anna Visscher of the Netherlands, sister-in-law Sandra VanderDuim of Waterloo and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Binnert (Bert) VanderDuim and an infant son. Visitation will be held at Strathroy United Church, Front Street, Strathroy on Monday, December 11 from 12PM until 1PM when a Memorial Service will be held with Rev. Jock Tolmay officiating. In lieu of flowers donations to the Strathroy United Church or Sprucedale Family Council, Strathroy would be appreciated.
