Obituary of Emilia Travassos

Peacefully at home, amongst loved ones, the Lord, her Saviour, took to Himself, our loving Mother and Vavo, Emilia da Conceical Lourenco de Medeiros Travassos, the beloved wife of the late Angelo Travassos (2005), on Sunday, October 8, 2006, at the age of 79. Deeply loved by her children, Lenore Kroh, and her friend Alan Coveney; and Michael and Ingrid Travassos. Cherished Vavo of Jennifer, Nicole and Tyler Kroh; and their father, son-in-law, Robert Kroh; Zachary and Natasha Travassos. Survived by her younger sister, Lenore Carvalho, of Portugal, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Mariano and Emilia de Medeiros, an infant son (1965) and six brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, on Wednesday, October 11, 2006, from 7-9 p.m., beginning with prayers at 6:15 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at 11 a.m., All Saints Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Strathroy. Donations to All Saints Parish would be appreciated by the family. We give thanks to you, O God, for her life with us.
