Obituary of Arvo Nirkkola

Suddenly, at his home, on Tuesday, April 18, 2006. Arvo Nirkkola of Strathroy in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Barbara Nirkkola (McLean) for 46 years. Loving father of Lorie and Miguel Godinez of Brampton and Kevin and Lisa Nirkkola of Strathroy and grandfather of Joshua Nirkkola, Zachary Clarke and Brigitte and Michelle Godinez. Dear brother of Gertrude Kesti, Anio and Armas Hautala and Annie and Laurie Nenonen all of Sault Ste. Marie. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Predeceased by his brothers Toivo, Tauno and Taito and sister Ellie O'Kapiac. Visitation at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Thursday, April 20 from 7-9 PM where a funeral service will be held on Friday, April 21 at 11 AM with Pastor Robert G. Esson officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Calvary Pentecostal Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
