Obituary of Roy McLean

Peacefully, on Saturday, September 17th, 2005 at Strathmere Lodge, Roy Charles McLean of Strathroy in his 86th year. Predeceased by wife Eva Mary (2002). Will be sadly missed by children Marilyn (Leon) Bach of Strathroy, Glen (Carol) McLean of Strathroy and Nancy (Alan) Smith of Fort Saskatchewan Alberta. Remembered by grandchildren Joseph Ur of Gibbons Alberta, Julie (Rick) Dortmans of Strathroy, David (Erica) McLean of Strathroy, Brian McLean (Deceased 1996), Heather (Randy) McLean of London, Paul (Krisa) Smith of Strathroy and Melissa (Blair) Kondro, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Also remembered by 12 great-grandchildren and predeceased by great-granddaughter Madison (1999). Survived by siblings Jean Moore of Strathroy, Alma Locke of Sudbury, Betty Black of Sarnia and Bruce (Fran) McLean of Glencoe. Predeceased by brother Ronald McLean (1977). Survived by sisters-in-law Lillian Rose, Alberta (Fred) Filip, Connie Carey, all of Sarnia and Rose McLean of Strathroy. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday Evening at 6:30 PM. at the Denning Brothers Funeral Home in Strathroy, followed by visitation from 7-9 PM. A private family service will be held on Wednesday, September 21st, 2005. Rev. Charlie Seed officiating. Donations to the Alzheimers Society and the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
