Obituary of William Gough

Suddenly at Bluewater Health Mitton St., Sarnia on Tuesday, September 13th, 2005. William Stanley Gough of Strathroy in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Donna (Paul) of Strathroy. Bill was predeceased by Sheila (Wood) Gough (2003). Dear father of Ron and Nancy Gough of Strathoy and Rick and Mary Lou Gough of London. Also survived by grandchildren Jeff and Jenny Gough, Jeremy and Michelle Gough and Brenna and Brandon Gough . Great grandpa to Christopher, Mathew, Desare and Riley. Step father to Alan and Nancy Smith of Alberta and Diane and Dave Barnhardt of Sarnia and step grandfather to their families. Bill is survived by his brother Allan Gough and predeceased by his brother Cliff (1976). Bill in his younger years was very active in sports, playing baseball, hockey, refereeing and coaching. Bill volunteered much of his time to may different comunity services. He will be missed by the many lives he touched. Visitation will be held at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W., Strathroy on Thursday, September 15th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 6:30pm . A complete funeral service at the funeral home on Friday September 16th at 1:00pm will be officiated by Rev. Charles Seed. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated by the family.
