After a short illness in North Carolina on February 15, 2005. Thomas H. Gooden in his 80th year. Beloved father of Tom Jr. (Karen) of Michigan, Steve (Lynda) of Michigan, Dan (Brenda) of Florida and David (Kim) of North Carolina. Loved by 11 grandchildren. Brother of Virginia Buttery (Howard 2002) of Kerwood, stepbrother of Roberta Grass (Harold) of Michigan and brother-in-law of Bill Oliver of Michigan. Predeceased by his parents Sadie Gibson (1986), stepfather Robert Gibson (1992), father Thomas Gooden (1943) and sister Dorothy Oliver (1992). Funeral service was held Saturday, February 19 at Denning Bros. Funeral Home. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery.
