Obituary of Murray Jones

After a short battle with cancer, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, on Saturday, September 25, 2004. Murray Edward Hartley Jones, QC in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Dale and the late Lois Mae. Dear father of Russell and Marilyn Jones and Brian Jones of Victoria B.C., Sandy and Brian McDougall of London and Chris, Christine and Jason Hauk of Strathroy. Also proudly remembered by 5 grandchildren; Jacqueline, Christopher, and Luke Jones and Ryan and Matthew Harris. Fondly remebered by brothers-in-law Dr. Ernest and Lois Jones of Toronto and Earl and Betty Price of Chatham and nieces and nephews; Stephen and Fay Jones, Paula and Gord Clark and Karen Clark of Aurora and Frank and Fay Jones of Bolton. Predeceased by his niece Pam Price. Visitation will be held at Dennning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Monday, September 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM with funeral service on Tuesday, September 28 at Strathroy United Church at 11 AM with Rev. Robert Strachan officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Strathroy Fire Department or Strathroy Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
