Obituary of Gerrit VanArragon

Peacefully, at Strathmere Lodge, God called home his child, (Gerrit) Willem VanArragon after a long life of service to his God, his family, his church and community on Friday, September 24, 2004 in his 91st year. Dearly loved husband of Harmina VanArragon (Linde). Dear Dad of Jenny and Martin Oldengarm of Kitchener, Geertje and Charles Bamford of San Jose, California, Jerry and MaryAnn Kingma of Strathroy, Gary and Gretchen VanArragon of Guelph, Leo and Cathy VanArragon of Ottawa, Harma Badgley of Trenton, Wilma VanArragon and Ralph Linder of Chicago, Wayne Collinson of Mt. Brydges, Mike Parker and Eleanor Thompson of Bellville and Dan Fletcher of Oakville. Cherished Opa to 19 grandchildren and their spouses and 10 greatgrandchildren. Predeceased by 9 brothers and sisters. Survived by a brother Herman in Brazil and a sister Hendrika Klumpenhouwer in Listowel. Loved by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Westmount Christina Reformed Church on Sunday, September 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A private family burial will be held on Monday morning with a service of the celebration of Willem's life at 2PM on Monday, September 27 in the Westmount Christian Reformed Church. Denning Bros.
