Obituary of J. Clifton

At Strathmere Lodge on Sunday April 18, 2004. Mr. J.George Clifton of Strathroy in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Yvonne (Ellis) Clifton. Dear father of Marilyn Clifton of Huronview, Clinton, Grace (Ken) Coleman of London, Ann (Rick) LeBeau of Seaforth, Donna (Wayne) Stirling of Brucefield and Joe (Terri) Clifton of Brucefield. Survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife, Leona Jeannette (Webster) in 1971, Myrtle (Douglas) in 1983 and Hazel (McNall) in 1986. Visitation on Monday, April 19th from 2 to 3 pm at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy and on Tuesday from 10 to 11am at St. John's Anglican Church where the service will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Willi Kammerer officiating. Interment with Committal Service to take place at the Clinton Cemetery at 3:00 pm Tuesday April 20th. All of George's Clinton area friends are welcome. Donations to the St. John's Anglican Church or Strathmere Lodge Auxilliary would be appreciated by the family.
