Obituary of Maria Eck

At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Sunday, October 5, 2003. Maria Cornelia (Jilesen) Van Eck of Strathroy, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Leo Van Eck (2001) of Strathroy and dear mother of Tony and Joan Van Eck of London, Joe and Anna Van Eck of Mt. Brydges, Leny and Joe Creces of Parkhill, Mary and Bill Bosch of Warwick and Bill and Barb Van Eck of Brantford. Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Maria is predeceased by 2 sisters and 1 brother and is survived by a brother Jan of Mill, Holland. Resting at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy until Wednesday, October 8 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Front Street East, Strathroy at 11 A.M. with Father John Sharp officiating. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Strathroy. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Tuesday at P.M. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. Funeral home visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
