Peacefully went to be with the Lord on Friday December 28, 2012 at Strathrmere Lodge, Strathroy, In his 94th year . Beloved husband of Ida Westerhof for 63 years. Dear father of Henry (Elizabeth) Westerhof of Hamilton, Fred (Shirley) Westerhof of Strathroy, Greta (John deceased) Vanderwekken of Victoria B.C. Albert (Suzanna) Westerhof of Komoka and Annie (Tom) Rickwood of St. Thomas. Grandfather of 15 and great grandfather of 2. Survived by 1 sister Menke Plieger and brother Jan Westerhof. Predeceased 1 sister and 2 brothers all of the Netherlands. Visitation for friends and family will be held at the East Christian Reformed Church, Metcalfe St East Strathroy on Tuesday January 1, 2013 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm, where funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 2, 2013 at 11:00 am with Pastor Derek Bouma officiating.
