Obituary of Leah Rees

Passed away peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Thursday, January 31, 2013, Leah Betsy Rees of Ailsa Craig at the age of 92. Loving wife of the late John Ernest Rees. Dear mother of Izetta (the late George) Blackman and John (Jo-Anne) Rees. Beloved grandmother of Moe Blackman, Robert (Jennifer) Rees, the late Ronald, the late Richard and Heather Smith-Rees (Matthew Smith). Survived by great grandchildren Harley, Tanner, Sebastian, Liam, Ciaran, Bronwyn, Ronan, Virginia and Gwynnevere,. Sadly missed by her sister Mandy Inwood. Predeceased by 10 siblings. Friends will be received on Sunday, February 3rd from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at T. Stephenson & Son Funeral Home, Ailsa Craig (519-293-3331) where the funeral service will be held on Monday, February 4th at 1:00 pm with Reverend David Mitchell officiating. Interment to follow in Nairn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Cook Rees Memorial Fund for Water Search and Safety or to the Ailsa Craig United Church.
