Obituary of Bette Martin

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Saturday March 2, 2013. Bette L. Martin of Strathroy , Born March 4, 1924 . She passed away 2 days before her 89th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Edwin (Pepper) Martin (1986). Survived by her 2 children Nina Gowanlock of Strathroy and Christopher Martin of Port Perry. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and her sister Barbara Coates of England and her brother Ken (Tony) Marshall of London. Bette was predeceased by her son Michael and sister Josie. Cremation has taken place. A memorial funeral service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church 34 Head St. N,. Strathroy on Tuesday March 5, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Karen Nelles officiating. Visitation for friends and family one hour prior to service.
