Obituary of Eleanor Collings

Suddenly at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Monday May 6, 2013 with family at her side. Eleanor Edith Collings (Robertson) of Strathroy in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Russell Collings (1991) and dear mother of David and Lynne Collings and Brian Collings all of Strathroy and Laurie and Bill Locke of Whitecourt, Alberta. Cherished grandmother of Adam Locke (Misty), Andrea Hay (Sean), Chad Collings (Liz), Sara Pestana (Dan), Rob Scott, Shane Scott (Jennifer) and Kelly Ireland (Jamie) and also survived by 18 great grandchildtren. Predeceased by her parents Russell and Mary (Sullivan) Robertson and her brothers Allan and James Robertson. Eleanor was a long time employee of Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital as an RNA. Visitation for friends and family will be held at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME LTD., STRATHROY on Thursday May 9, 2013 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm where funeral service will be held on Friday May 10, 2013 at 11:00 am with Rev. Julia Sinclair officiating. Interment to follow in Watford Cemetery. Donations in memory of Eleanor to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
