Obituary of Henry Thuss
Thuss, Henry (John) - Peacefully at home on Friday May 31, 2013 after a courageous battle. Surrounded by his family. Henry John Thuss of Strathroy in his 60th year. Loving husband to Mary (DeGroot) Thuss and proud father of Robert, David, (Erica), Jeremy (Ashley) and James (Carly). Predeceased by his parents Joseph (2001) and Josephina (2009). Dear brother to Maria (Rene) VanBommel, Kate (Garry) Heynsbergen, Rose (Joe) Vandenberg, Marg (Bouw) Willemse, Jane Thuss (Richard Bergsma), Barb Millar (Ken Peters) , Tony (Karen) Thuss, Pat (Pete) Smits and Liz Thuss. Predeceased by brothers Mike (1997) and Frank (1987) and nephew Nicholas Heynsbergen (1980). Will be sadly missed by his mother-in-law, Corrie DeGroot. Predeceased by his father-in-law Casey DeGroot (2002). Fondly remembered by Casey (Mary) DeGroot, Simon (Joanne) DeGroot, Pete (Marg) DeGroot, John (Sam) DeGroot, Angela (Don) DeLeemans, Henry (Teresa) DeGroot. Predeceased by sister-in-law Nancy DeGroot (2000). Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held for family and friends at Denning Bros. Funeral Home Ltd. Strathroy, on Sunday June 2nd, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers will be held at 6:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Front St E Strathroy on Monday June 3rd, 2013 at 11 am with Father John Sharp officiating . Cremation will take place after service. Donations in memory of John to the London Regional Cancer Program would be appreciated by the family.
