Obituary of Josef Treuer

At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Sunday June 30, 2013, Josef (Joe) Treuer of Strathroy in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Maria Treuer (2007) for 59 years. Predeceased by one son Helmut (2004). Also survived by daughter-in-law Kathy, and grandchildren Catherine and Ian, and great grandchildren Janessa, Jacob and Chloe. Dear brother of Tony Treuer and families. Dearly missed by his "adopted family" Murray and Cheryl Waters, Kate and Chris Minten and their son Liam, and Kyle Waters. Predeceased by his parents Anton and Apollonia Treuer and his brother Klaus Treuer. Visitation at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Wednesday from 6 - 9 pm. Parish prayers at 6:15 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at 11 am. with Father Lucio Couto officiating. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. In memory of Joe, donations may be made to the SMGH Foundation or the Strathroy Knights of Columbus.
