Obituary of Ida Hemsted

Peacefully passed away at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy on Friday August 9, 2013 Ida Belle Hemsted (Wardell) of Strathroy and formerly Adelaide Twp., in her 98th year. Predeceased by her loving husband, Stanley Hemsted (1996). Dear mother of Carol Pugh (Tim Tschetter) of Brooks, Alberta and Leasa Stephens of Toronto. She was the last surviving sibling of four brothers, Walter, Cliff, Fred and Borden Wardell and sister Inez Wardell, also loved by her grandchildren Brian, Stacie and Nicole all of Alberta and Great grandchildren Jordan, Taylor, and Brooklyn. Ida Belle is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation for family and friends will take place on Sunday August 11, 2013 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at DENNING BROS FUNERAL HOME, STRATHROY where funeral service will take place on Monday August 12, 2013, at 1:00 pm with Rev. David Mitchell officiating. Interment , Strathroy Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the care she received from the Doctors, nurses and staff at the Palliative Care in Strathmere Lodge and Strathroy Hospital. Those wishing to make donations in memory of Ida Belle to Strathmere Lodge Auxiliary Memorial Fund or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Ida Belle
