When I was kid she used to live with us. I remember so many happy and laughing times then. We used to go to Shetland swimming all the time. She was always smiling there.I loved BEA and Johnnny like brother and sister to me too.

I was lucky enough to get the pleasure of playing cards with Aunt Mary and Uncle John every Saturday. We always played many games together but poker was the one where Mary always shined. Sometimes (quite alot) I would bet high to scare people off, so I would sit there hoping and watching people fold their hands, then it would come to Mary and she always seemed to call me when I was bluffing so it made me look foolish and usually made her end up winning the game, she never seemed to call my high bets when I actually had a good hand. Mary was such a caring, funny and loving woman, she could always make you smile. She treated me, my fiancee and my kids like we were her own. She had a very close relationship with all of us and she will be loved and missed by everyone.

So sad to hear about your loss. Jinx was always great to be around. Some fond memories were that of the trips to Boblo Island and to cedar Point. I know we laughed but the kids loved it. Another memory was the time she put Armorall on the motorcycle seat. She meant well but sister went for a slide. Remember all the good times and smile. I know I am. Rest in peace Jinx. We love ya

Sad to hear of Mary Jean's passing. Although we haven't seen her for years, the Bourque family sends their condolences to the Murphy and Joyce families. I will always remember Mary Jean as a happy, smiling lady with a big heart and warm hug. May she rest in peace and may her loved ones find peace in knowing that others are sad for their loss. Fly with the angels, Mary Jean. Ollie

My story is about tapping of the pines trees (sorry Bea but its funny). Mary and sister Betty ( I think it was Betty) decided one year to make maple syrup so the ladies gathered the supplies and tapped the row of trees along the front of the house. Turns out the trees were pine so needless to say that didnt go well. Good try anyway ladies! Almost every spring during when the sap is running I think of those two. I will miss Mary so much and always remember her as always smiling no matter what. She was so proud of her kids and grandchildren and touched a lot of hearts with her kindness and humour.
