Obituary of Gertrude Tollenaar

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 Gertrude Tollenaar (nee Schieman) passed away at the age of 93. Loving wife of John Tollenaar (1995). Beloved mother of Betty (Al) Cassidy of Tillsonburg, Fran (Bob) Morris of Whitehorse, Yukon and Nellie (Bryon) Fluker of Tilbury. Grandmother of Kelly (Brad), Jeff (Vicki), Lisa (John), Jodi (Ron), Kari (Jay) and Drew (Kristi). Survived by 5 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 5 brothers and 1 sister. Friends will be received on Friday, November 1st from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am from Westmount Christian Reformed Church, 405 Drury Lane, Strathroy with Reverend Dr. Peter Hoytema Officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Middlesex Elgin V.O.N or to Westmount Christian Reformed Church.
