Obituary of Cecil Alexander McGregor

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Sunday, July 13, 2014, Alex McGregor passed away in his 99th year. Beloved husband of Aileen (Fuller) for 73 years. Loving father of Ken and Nancy, Hazel and John Madill, and Bruce and Kim. Proud grandpa of Rob and Marcia, Janyce and Michael, Ian and Laura, Rob and Christine, Matt and Adele, Hannah, and Nellie. Dear great grandpa to Mason, Violet, Norah, Nikolas, Sadie, Ella, and Alexander. Survived by sister-in-law Jean. Predeceased by his son Glen, brothers Will J and Allan. sister-in-law Ruth and brother-in-law Duncan. Visitation will be held at T. Stephenson & Son Funeral Home, Ailsa Craig on Wednesday from 7-8:30 p.m. Masonic Service under the auspices of Craig Lodge 574 at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Beechwood with Rev. Pieter van Harten and Rev. Doug Miles officiating. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment in Nairn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Beechwood would be appreciated by the family.
