My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Deb, Adam, Alicia, Nathan, Amanda, Sarah, and all his beautiful grandchildren. I always admired Steve for what he did as a man, a husband, a father and grandfather. Every action he took in the few short years I knew him, he did with great love and taught you how to live and enjoy life no matter what it brings to your door. It was a lesson in just observing how he lived.
His infectious laugh, ever present smile and joie de vivre couldn't help but get into you and make you feel happy and thankful for having someone like him in your life. So many great memories around the dining table playing dominoes, euchre or any game - and every time I play them from now on, I will hear his roaring laugh.
Godspeed, big man... may the fishing be plentiful and the games just as laughter filled as they were with us. I miss you, and I'm forever in your debt.
