Obituary of Alexander Kenneth Rose

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Friday September 25, 2015, Alexander “Alex” Kenneth Rose in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Happer) for 53 years. Caring dad of Carolyn and Wayne Becker, Dave and Heather Rose, and Jeff and Marion Rose. Proud grandpa of Stacey, Chad and fiancée Brittany, Branson, Sheldon, Sabrina and Sanith, Vanessa and Sieuwerd, and Nathan. Alex was cherished by his 9 great grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings Marg and Dale Schram, Donna and Peter Stulp, and the late Shirley (2015) and Dave Cleland. Alex will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, neighbors and his four-legged friend Barney. Friends and family will be received at Denning’s of Ailsa Craig, 171 Main Street Ailsa Craig, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Ailsa Craig Community Centre on Monday afternoon at 1pm. Interment to follow in Nairn Cemetery. Donations in Alex’s memory may be made to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation, Canadian Liver Foundation or a charity of your choice.
