I am so sorry for your loss. It was a day of reflection when I had heard the news of her passing. Remembering the times when we were kids playing over at the original farm and she would ensure we were having fun and being safe. The first time hearing her say "dumb bunny", which I had never heard before, still makes me smile, even today, although it is with a sadden heart and tears in my eyes. A special Mom, a wonderful relative, and a gentle lady to all that knew her, are the words that come to mind when thinking of Aunt Betty. There is some comfort in the thoughts & feelings that she is up there along side Uncle Hugh in his recliner and her in her chair, pain free and relaxing. Mary Ann

We were saddened to hear of Betty's passing. She was such a sweet person. I have many fond memories of her from the time she babysat Courtney and just from being neighbours and friends. My deepest condolences to Betty's family....she was always in good spirits and humour when I picked up Ian during our teenage years...she was always the first to stop for sweet corn when driving by the farm or pull over to the side of the road just to say hi...she will be sadly missed..

To Betty's Family, Please accept our deepest sypmathies in your loss. Betty was a wonderful lady and made my working days so much easier when she babysat Courtney! Courtney never wanted to leave her house when I would go to pick her up at the end of my shift. We were friends and neighbours for years and had some good visits and chats on the phone after she moved to town. She will be missed by all who knew her.
