I am thinking so much of Aunt Shirley and all she has meant in my life. I feel relieved for her that the suffering is ended, and that she is close in some special ways again with Uncle Ross, Grandma and Grandpa Shaw, and her sisters. She was so proud of her family, of her Irish heritage, and her contributions through her work as a teacher and administrative assistant. My heartfelt sympathies to you, David and Tim, and to all her grandchildren, Alex, Patrick, Matthew, and great grandson, Charlie. She was SO proud of you all, and loved to update me about your accomplishments and lives whenever we talked. Don't stop giggling, Aunt Shirley...I love you too! Ruth

Shirley was one of the best friends a person could ever have. I loved her big heart, her wit, her intelligence and her love of family and friends. I will miss her special little quotes she used when expressing herself. She always ratcheted in her purse. Loved her and will miss her.
