My memories of Leroy are both about dancing: step dancing on his float and on his stage at Gala Days as a kid and the square dance he called for our family at our wedding. I will put on my shoes sometime this weekend and dance in his honour.

I enjoyed playing bluegrass with Leroy in Strathroy for the past number of years. I was new to the gang at one time and was always made to feel welcome, and Leroy was one of the main reasons for the welcome feeling. He will be missed.
