Farewell to a wonderful friend and long time friend of Bill W. Thank you Leo for your thoughtfulness and care throughout the years. I so enjoyed our phone conversations since the move and greatly appreciated your encouragement.
I have fond memories of my first trip alone; both you and Drena prepared me a lovely meal. After, you and I pulled out the accordions. It brought back so many memories- thank you. We had then gone through some wrestling and hockey magazines. It was beautiful to share that one on one time with you. You had a real sense of humour. Always. We laughed a lot that night.
The second trip we all came; you hosted a wonderful meal at the Mandarin with Drena/you/Dan/Emily/their kids and us. I will always remember that night. It was truly special. Many thanks to my beautiful special friend Drena for your years of compassion and commitment in caring for Leo. He was truly blessed to have you.
Love to you both,
Maureen Perry

Please accept my prayers and condolences for Leo who could always make you laugh. He won many bets on his Canadians against Steve who always bet with his heart on the Leafs. It was wonderful to see him after so many years at Steve's funeral.

I will always remember Leo as a man full of compassion who cared about others who needed support. When I was struggling with anxiety about work, Leo not only offered a listening ear, but offered to drive to Sudbury where I had to meet with employees, so I wouldn't be alone... He spoke out when he felt something needed to be said, which takes conviction and courage. Although I didn't get to see him much over the past few years , my hubby and I were blessed to have a visit a few weeks ago along with our dog, to see his smile and hear him laugh. I didn't realize what a connection he had with dogs... but it was obvious they held a special place in his heart and soul... My heart goes out to Drena and Leo's family in your loss. He will be missed. Thank you for sharing the wonderful video of Leo's journey.
