He became a close friend in na very short time, he was a man that brought a smile to my face every time I saw him at Oakwood. I had the pleasure of teaching him golf, and listening to his many stories over a drink or two. He will missed by his family here at Oakwood, I hope he still swinging his sticks up in heaven, and hasn’t given up the game. My deepest condolences to his wife, grandson and family and friends.

Dear Cathy and family, we are so sorry to learn of Fred’s passing. Our deepest condolences to all. We have known Fred and Cathy for many years and value their friendship. We happened to run into Fred at the Beaver Restaurant in late November and had a nice chat. Our hearts are saddened, but we will dwell on fond memories and good times. Jeff, Anita and kids...our hearts are heavy with the knowledge of the hurt and sadness you must feel. It is for you Jeff, the day sons dread.
