Obituary of Frederick John Cox

Peacefully at his home in Nairn on Thursday, June 14, 2018 Frederick “Fred” Cox passed away at the age of 88. Loving husband of Donna (nee Smith) for 61 years. Beloved father of Terri (Casey) Van Massenhoven and Russell (Judy) Cox. Dear grandfather of Kate (Tim), Jen (Rob), Kevin and Sara and great grandfather of Braiden, Ava, Annabelle and Charlotte. Sadly missed by his sister Betty Sutherland. Dear friend of Bill Mathers. Forever remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his sister Joyce (Ted) Lovell and brother in law Roy Sutherland. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at DENNING’S OF AILSA CRAIG 519-293-3331 on Monday, June 18th from 5-8 pm. A Legion Service under the auspices of Ailsa Craig Legion Branch 422 will be conducted at 4:30 pm. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 20th at 11:00 am from Nairn Cemetery.
