Obituary of Claire D. Wright

Wright, Claire D.

 

It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Claire D. Wright at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Mary Lou (Nee Fradgley) for 67 years. Loving father of David (Julie), Susan (Brian) Woods and Nancy (Lawrence) Schembri. Proud grandpa of Connor (Michelle), Rebecca, Stephanie (Mark), Michael (Angela), Justin (Ashlen), and Toni.  Special great-grandpa of Hunter, Kayleigh, Samantha, Thomas, George, and Zachary. Claire is predeceased by his sister Evelyn Neely. Survived by his brother-in-law Ralph, sisters-in-law Barbara Hare, Ellen (Jack) Watkins, Janet Wright, Lois (Dick) Wilkinson, and brother-in-law Bill (Betty) Fradgley. Claire will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

 

Claire was past president of the Historical Automobile Society of Canada and past president and lifetime member of the Institute of Power Engineers. Claire was also a member of Exeter Odd Fellows Lodge #67. 

 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 12:00p.m until the time of Memorial Service at 2:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF AILSA CRAIG. Interment to follow at Nairn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or a charity of one’s choice. Online condolences and donations may be left at www.ailsacraigfuneralhome.com.
