I was so sad to hear of Jim's passing this past week. He was a good guy. In spite of his 'gruff' exterior, to me he was a man of conviction, consideration, generosity and humour. My best memory of him is when he and I accompanied our family on a cruise to 'somewhere' in the US; we both had great fun. Jim had an amazing/unnerving ability to locate us on-board that massive ship, whether we were dining, on the sun decks or in the back of a bar! On one excursion in Seattle, Jim, Mike and I went to the R 'n R Hall of Fame. At Mike's insistence, we all picked up guitars or drums and performed a loud song that Mike picked. Haha! Can you see Jim in your mind? He was having a great time making a video and having his picture taken for posterity. I am sure he glowed all day! Since that day, Jim and I had a mutual appreciation of each other and a find relationship. I will miss him. Heartfelt Condolences to Gord and Brenda and Michael. Love you all, JANE ELENOR

Jim was an integral part of the family farm of his parents in Clandeboye. As a very young child (that 2as a lot of years ago) up until my preteensI was fortunate to be able to spend every summer at the farm and I have fond memories of Jim from there. He left to move to London to become a plumber but still came back to help on the family farm whenever he could. Later he and Janet bough their own farm and worked hard there. Later his parents retired and left the farm but there are a lot of memories still. So sorry for your loss Gordon and family You certainly made sure to keep your dad involved and happy especially after Janet passed. Jane Scott

As a child growing up we would often visit the Windsor farm with my Dad (Ed Windsor). Such fond memories of the animals in the barn, the huge farm machines, the rides on the snowmobiles, the steak on the bbq and the warm pies from Aunt Janet's kitchen. Today when we pass the Windsor farm, we still beep our horns, smile and wave!
Your warm heart and smile will be missed Uncle Jim!
Love Always
