We are very sorry to hear of Lawrence‘s passing. He meant a lot too many people, including me, Rob Scafe. The 16 mm camera tapes that Lawrence recorded on fishing trips still live on, converted to VCR and now CD. One of the first trips, Lawrence, dad and John Draaisma took Involved a small aluminum boat with a 3 hp motor towing a rubber raft. Lawrence was probably the one in the rubber raft. I’m sure he didn’t mind that. I have a Muskie that dad caught at Beechwood in 1971. Lawrence mounted it and it still looks great. Our thoughts and prayers are with Linda and family.

How do we express in words what our hearts are feeling? Lawrence and you are so special to us. I want to send to you, my heart felt condolences, on Lawrence's passing. Looking at these beautiful pictures,, I can see the love and closeness you all had for each other.. I loved Lawrence's smile, he had that McIntyre smile that so many seemed to inherited from our mothers.. He had the most infectious bubbly personality, and that laugh that would fill a room, and our hearts when we heard it.. I am so sorry that he has passed,, I know your hearts are broken, and no one could possibly know how you are feeling. Knowing that all his discomfort in this life is over,, and that he is able to be out of his chair, walking freely now must be a source of comfort to you somewhat,, and also to know that Uncle Welly, and Aunt Sadie, and his little brother,, and also his cousin Gary, will be there to welcome him home. We were all blessed to have had Lawrence in our family,, he certainly was one of a kind.. Hugs to you all.
