Lawrence and Linda were married on May 22, 1971. Linda was the love of his life. His life’s work was with Stewart Seeds in Ailsa Craig, Ciba Crop Protection in Cambridge & Syngenta Seed Corn Production in Cottam. He retired in 2001 after 35 years. His life’s passion was fishing. Following retirement in 2001, Lawrence and Linda moved to Bayfield where he became an active member of the Bayfield Angler’s Association. In 1964, as a teenager, he and a group of young musician friends formed a dance band called “The Casuals”. They became quite popular, playing for dances at the local high school in Parkhill, at the hall in Ilderton, at the London Fair and many other venues. In later years, he and Linda enjoyed cruising in their classic Ford Mustang and attending local car shows with family and friends.
A special heartfelt thank-you to the staff of the Exeter Villa Nursing Home for all their love, care and compassion for Lawrence. Many special friendships were made and will never be forgotten.
