My brother Brian Stewart just sent me this and I'd like to offer my deepest sympathies to the Rose Family on Gerald's death. I grew up on my Mom and Dad's farm just down the road from Gerald and remember him well at Beechwood Church and the Beechwood Hall and visiting the farm and going to both East Williams Memorial Public School and North MIddlesex High School. My other brother John M was a friend of Gerald's too and I remember his Mom and Dad. My parents were John and Madelyn Stewart. My wife Pat and I moved our family to Phoenix, Arizona in 1988 and I have many fond memories of growing up in Beechwood and Nairn. This was a beautiful tribute to Gerald. I appreciated seeing it. Guess we had something else in common I never knew. Fishing. My great friend and neighbor Ross Clark and I went fishing in the crick below Ross's house and the muddy Ausable River most of my youth.
